OUR PROJECTS FOR 2023

1) Within the scope of the project “TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE SUPPORT OF CHILDREN'S RIGHTS IN TURKEY” supported by the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey, and financed by the European Union, our Faculty's Social Work Department Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Yanardağ serves as a senior expert.

2) Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1001 project, the project titled "PRICE TRANSMISSIONS AND MARKET POWER ANALYSIS IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN STAGES OF MAJOR VEGETABLES IN TURKEY: POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FOOD INFLATION" is being carried out, with our Faculty's Economics Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kübra ÖNDER and Res. Asst. Dr. Büşra AKIN serving.

3) Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1002 project, our Faculty's Health Management Department Res. Asst. Dr. Ferda IŞIKÇELİ serves as the executive in the project titled "EVALUATION OF DISEASE COST AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION" under the consultancy of Prof. Dr. İsmail AĞIRBAŞ and Prof. Dr. Cansın TULUNAY KAYA from Ankara University.

4) Within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1002, our Faculty's Health Management Department Res. Asst. Dr. Ferda IŞIKÇELİ serves as a researcher in the project titled "QUALITY OF LIFE AND COST ANALYSIS BASED ON RISK FACTORS IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING SURGICAL PROCEDURES DUE TO ATHEROSCLEROTIC VASCULAR DISEASE".

5) Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237 Scientific Education Activities Support Program, our Faculty's Health Management Department Dr. Lecturer Nurdan ORAL KARA serves in the project titled “POST-EARTHQUAKE FIRST AID CAMPUS”.

6) Our Faculty's faculty member Dr. Lecturer Mehmet ÖÇAL serves as the coordinator in the “Burdur Province Small Ruminant Milk Collection Network Project” supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The project, which was entitled to be supported in 2022, was completed in November 2023.

7) Our Faculty's faculty member Dr. Lecturer Mehmet ÖÇAL serves as the coordinator in the “Ball Planting Project with Women's Hands” supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The project, which started in 2017, is still ongoing under the auspices of our University. Additionally, it was awarded the “Outstanding Achievement” Award in the field of Contribution to Local Development in 2022 by YÖK under the auspices of our Presidency. The award was presented by our President.

8) Our Faculty's faculty member Dr. Lecturer Habibe YAMAN serves as the executive of the sub-project titled “Determination and Certification of Agricultural and Livestock Sector Standards” numbered 2017K12-41003-24, prepared under the title “Increasing Sectoral Competitiveness of Burdur Province: Integrated Development by Differentiating in Agriculture and Livestock” carried out by MAKÜ, which was selected as a pilot university in the field of project studies themed "Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization of Universities" coordinated by the Council of Higher Education and the Presidency of Strategy and Budget. The said project has been ongoing since 2019. In the certification programs within the scope of this project, “Accreditable Program Approval” was obtained from the Turkish Accreditation Agency, thus MAKÜ achieved the success of being the first and only authorized institution in Turkey in this field. Additionally, the certification activities related to dairy cattle within the scope of this study have also been included in the agenda of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. It was presented to the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Republic of Turkey as an Investment Program by the Ministry and was included in the 2023 Investment Program.

9) Our Faculty's faculty member Dr. Lecturer Mehmet ÖCAL's “Ball Planting Project with Women's Hands” has been entitled to the grant program managed by the Australian Embassy in Ankara and financed under the Direct Aid Program (DAP) of the Australian government. The project, which aims to strengthen women's employment in Burdur province, is planned to be completed within 1 year.
